C(nth) I(nth) xyz, TACS, and Air Battle Management: The Search for Operational Doctrine.

Abstract

Operational doctrine is increasingly important to all the military services. This new importance results from the joint emphasis on doctrine and, given the simultaneous decrease in size and increase in operational taskings experienced by all the services, the need for both the individual services and the entire joint community to understand how each service operates at the operational level of war.
