Air National Guard Installation Restoration Program: Community Relations Plan. 153rd Airlift Wing, Wyoming Air National Guard, Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Abstract

The Community Relations Plan was developed as part of the Air National Guard's Installation Restoration Program (IRP) at the Wyoming Air National Guard Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The purpose of this plan is to obtain public participation and involvement in the decision-making process associated with the IRP program at the Base. Numerous Cheyenne residents, from the public and private sectors contributed to this plan by sharing their environmental concerns, with respect to the Air National Guard operations in Cheyenne. Most individuals interviewed expressed no concern over activities at the installation and only moderate interest with environmental concerns in general. Most interviewed believed that the best way for the Air National Guard to provide information to the public is through direct mailing of fact sheets.
