Volume I of the 'Working Forum on the Manifold Method of Material Analysis' contains papers presented by leading researchers on the subject of the numerical manifold method. The emphasis of each of the authors represents a different approach to extending the state of the art. Volume II presents the theoretical development of the numerical manifold and the simplex integration methods by Dr. Gen-hua Shi, the originator of both methods.
