Feasibility Study of a Storage Cooling System for Central Energy Plant (Bldg. 7210) at Fort Riley, KS,

Abstract

As a part of the Energy Engineering Analysis Program (EEAP), the feasibility of thermal energy storage at Fort Riley, KS has been studied in this report. This report was prepared by USACERL in Champaign, IL with Dr. Chang Sohn working as Principal Investigator and Mr. Douglas Anderson and Mr. Brian Boughton working as Research Assistants. Dr. Rich Liesen of the BLAST Support Office at the University of Illinois simulated the building cooling loads through the Building Load And System Thermodynamics (BLAST) program.
