UMCS Feasibility Study, Attachment Sections 8.1 & 8.2 A thru D for Fort George Meade. Volume 2 of 3.

Abstract

The existing Honeywell EMCS was originally installed in 1997. A software upgrade was performed five years ago; field hardware improvements were made in 1982. The existing EMCS is a standalone (monolithic) system. Over the years, mechanical and electrical equipment has become disconnected, losing monitor and control points. Purpose of this study is to evaluate replacement of the existing EMCS with a new, PC-based UMCS, and to evaluate adding new buildings to the UMCS. All buildings shall be prioritized according to simple payback and need.
