A Combined Limited Energy Study of Electrical Energy Demand and Use and Heating Systems at Pine Bluff Arsenal, Arkansas, Volume 1 - Narrative Report.

Abstract

The primary purpose of this contract is to conduct a detailed study of the boilers, air compressors and large electric motors in the production areas of PSA and develop projects to improve the efficiency of these systems. This study includes comprehensive field investigations of the boiler and compressed air plants; boiler efficiency testing; survey and analysis of the steam distribution system; measurement of electric motor power consumption; identification of Energy Conservation Opportunities (ECO's); energy and labor savings calculations; cost estimates and economic analysis of the ECO's.
