Abstract

The following is a full translation of the speech by LI Chin-hsi to the Second Session of the Second National Peopie's Congress of Communist China, in Peiping in April 1960, as carried in Jen-min Jih-pao Peiping, 14 April 1960, page 12. The articles are: 1. The phonetic alphabet and the cultural revolution. 2. Develop the children to take their turns in the ranks of the communism. 3. Middle and Primary schools textbooks must be reformed.
