System and Security Management Tools

Abstract

This report documents work performed under contract DAAHOl-97-C-R135. This work explores the use of Distributed Computing Environment facilities to aid in developing a commercial Intrusion Detection System that runs on most modern operating systems. The conclusion of the report is that our prototypes were an unguarded success and that we hope to continue this work in SBIR phases II and III.
