Abstract

The two main topics highlighted in this report are extended nozzles and lasers. The report describes the design method for an extended nozzle with gas deployed skirt and double-nested exit cone, and estimates the performance gain of this nozzle. Design of Orificed Hollow Cathode for 8-cm Mercury-Ion Thruster Prototype was also discussed The report contains papers with a focus on performance and uses of Raman Free Electron Lasers.
