Falmouth Inner Harbor and Woods Hole Harbor, Planning Assistance Report, Coastal Structures Inventory.

Abstract

This report inventories the location, ownership, general construction type, permit number, and function of existing shoreline and shallow water structures in Falmouth and Woods Hole Harbors, Massachusetts, the two largest and the most navigable harbors in the Falmouth area. In addition to identifying coastal and nearshore structures, it documents the shoreline boundaries for Falmouth and Woods Hole Harbors as well as existing and proposed Federal and State Projects in the immediate area. Also, this report gives a description of the economy and a general history of the development of these areas.
