Abstract

The United States of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, hereinafter referred to as the Parties, Confirming the provisions of the Treaty Between the United States of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on Underground Nuclear Explosions for Peaceful Purposes of May 28, 1976, hereinafter referred to as the Treaty. Taking into account the fact that nuclear explosions for peaceful purposes are conducted outside national nuclear test sites under various geological conditions. Convinced of the necessity to ensure effective verification of compliance with the Treaty. The contents of the Treaty are enclosed.
