Multispectral Superconducting Quantum Detectors

Abstract

A superconducting quantum photodetector is described and analyzed. The YBCO photodetector and YBCO readout SQUID form an integrated circuit. The photoresponse is based on the Kinetic Inductance of the superconducting condensate. Predicted value for NEP is approx. 10 to the -15th power Watt/(square root of Hz).
