Final Environmental Impact Statement for National Aeronauties and Space Administration Office of Space Science

Abstract

The NASA OSS Sounding Rocket Program is responsible for the launch of approximately 80 science and applications payloads per year. These launches are for NASA programs and those of other U.S. government agencies private industry, universities, foreign countries, and international organizations. Environmental effects caused by the research vehicles are limited in extent, duration, and intensity and are considered insignificant.
