Abstract

Ladies and gentlemen, it is a great pleasure to be with you and share some of my views on where I think the Department of Defense is headed in acquisition, recent policy changes, and other reform efforts that may be of interest to you. My goal as the Defense Acquisition Executive is to bring together the operator, the acquisition staff and industry. Working together as a team - an integrated product team - is more important than ever.
