Software Package for Speaker Independent or Dependent Speech Recognition Using Standard Objects for Phonetic Speech Recognition

Abstract

The research identified the overall requirements of an end to end phonetic speech recognition process for a speech recognition software product (SPSR). The effort has focused on expanding the existing Standard Objects for Phonetic Speech Recognition technology to the design of innovative software for a speaker independent continuous speech recognition system that can exploit the current parallel digital signal processing and mircocomputer technology. This software product for speech recognition will be developed in Phase 2 for use in speech recognition for air traffic control training.
