Progress on Year 2000 Conversion

Abstract

This report is the fourth in a series of quarterly summary reports to the Congress on Federal progress in fixing the year 2000 computer problem (Y2K) in Federal systems. It outlines the continuing work of the Administration to avert the problems that could occur if systems are not able to correctly process the year 2000. The report summarizes information received from the 24 largest Federal agencies, and describes the status of government wide activities underway.
