Nitrous Oxide Resistojets for Hybrid Rocket Application

Abstract

This report results from a contract tasking Surrey Satellite Technology, Ltd. as follows: (1) The contractor will investigate N2O combustion initiation processes in hybrid rockets. (2) A modified resistojet was developed for superheating N2O to initiate hybrid combustion.
