NASA AERONAUTICS: Impact of Technology Transfer Activities Is Uncertain

Abstract

In response to your requests, we have reviewed the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) efforts to transfer agency-developed technology to the U.S. civil aeronautics industry. Specifically, we sought to (1) identify NASA'S technology transfer activities and (2) assess their impact on the industry's international competitiveness.
