Abstract

How To Get It: A Guide to Defense-Related Information Resources is a reference tool to identify and/or obtain government published or sponsored publications, documents, maps, patents, specifications, standards, regulations, and other information resources of interest to the defense community. Entries are arranged alphabetically in a single directionary listing, by document type, source, acronym, series description, or short title. Each entry consists of an identification of the item and detailed acquisition information including: originator, order source, forms necessary, cost information, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail addresses, and the Internet URL when known. There are four appendices: Appendix A: Ordering Information; Appendix B: Forms for Ordering; Appendix C: Foreign Sources for Scientific and Technical Information; Appendix D: Topic Links for Subject Access to Information Sources Categories.
