Antipilferage Seal User's Guide

Abstract

This guide is intended to help security personnel select, apply, control, and inspect antipilferage seals. Topics covered are: the role of seals, how to select the correct seal, examples of seals, identifying the different types of seals, and installation, inspection, and removal of seals. This guide does not give step-by-step procedures, but provides information and suggestions that will help a facility develop a seal control program that meets its site-specific requirements. This guide complements Federal Specification FF-S-2738, if there is a conflict FF-S-2738 shall prevail.
