Bandwidth Usage of the Collaborative Tool: Microsoft NetMeeting V2.0

Abstract

This report examines the bandwidth usage of a collaborative tool, Microsoft NetMeeting. It shows that NetMeetings software configuration options can be used to successfully operate the product in the tactical environment at bandwidths as low as 32 kbps. It also provides information on how to setup a data conference to minimize the use of Wide Area Network bandwidth.
