Annual Report to Congress Scientific Advisory Board FY94

Abstract

This is the third Annual Report of the Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP) Scientific Advisory Board (SAB). The Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program was established by the Secretary of Defense pursuant to the 10 U.S.C. Sec 2901. The Program is intended to identify and develop technology that will enhance the capability of the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Energy (DOE) to meet their environmental obligations. In addition, the Program is intended to provide technology and information that may be useful to other governmental and private organizations in addressing environmental concerns. SERDP is also intended to facilitate the transfer of appropriate technology from the private sector to address DoD and DOE environmental and energy issues.
