Abstract

JPRS publications contain information primarily from foreign newspapers, periodicals and books, but also from news agency transmissions and broadcasts. Materials from foreign-language sources are translated; those from English-language sources are transcribed or reprinted, with the original phrasing and other characteristics retained. This document contains articles concerning economic affairs in China. Some topics include national policy and issues, provincial affairs, economic development, economic planning, economic management, finance, banking, industries, mineral resources, foreign trade and investment, labor and wages, transportation, and chinese media on foreign economic affairs.
