The EuroGOOS Atlantic Workshop Report

Abstract

The contents of this report provide an illustration of the state of the art in operational modeling on an ocean basin scale and show the way forward for continued cooperation in measuring the oceanographic conditions in the Atlantic, and transmitting the data to real time operational models. The Report starts with the Chairman's Overview of the Workshop, followed by the conclusions of the 4 drafting groups which met during the Workshop, and then short summaries of the papers which were presented by the speakers.
