Europallet Testing and Evaluation STANAG 2828 and MIL-STD-1660 Tests.

Abstract

The U.S. Army Defense Ammunition Center (DAC), Validation Engineering Division (SIOAC-DEV), was tasked by the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) to conduct STANAG 2828 and MIL-STD-1660 tests on the Europallet. Test results showed that the Europallet met the test requirements of STANAG 2828 at a test weight of 2,208 pounds, but failed to meet test requirements of MIL-STD-1660 at a test weight of 4,018 pounds. This report contains details of the tests conducted.
