Abstract

This serial report contains information on agricultural policy and trends at the all-union and republic levels including data on investments and plan fulfillment; major crop, livestock, and feed procurement statistics; processing and storage of key crops; production and availability of agricultural machinery; and the application of new technology to agriculture. Selective data on oblast/kray/ASSR levels are also provided. Weather data are included when they have a bearing on the quantity and quality of key crops.
