The Development of an Effective Vaccine, Post Exposure Prophylaxis and for Prevention and Control of AIDS

Abstract

Studies undertaken in Year 3 of Grant DAMD 17-95-1-5031 focused on identification of peptide mimetics capable of generating broadly reactive neutralize antibodies versus globally diverse primary isolates of HIV-1. More than one hundred synthetic peptides were screened for immunogenicity and neutralization of a B clade primary isolate.
