Occupational Survey Report: Pararescue, AFSC 1T2X1, OSSN 2290.

Abstract

This is a report of an occupational survey of the Pararescue career ladder, AFSC 1T2X1, conducted by the Occupational Analysis Flight, Air Force Occupational Measurement Squadron (AFOMS). This survey will ensure current data for use in evaluating the effectiveness of training and to evaluate changes in the career ladder since the previous OSR, dated August 1995. This report represents the first time members of the Air National Guard (ANG) are included in the AFSC 1T2X1 occupational analysis process. Personnel entering the Pararescue career ladder must successfully complete approximately 1 year sequence of pipeline courses offered at a variety of CONUS locations. These courses are arguably the most physically grueling, demanding, and rigorous programs found within the formal training environment.
