Developable Wings -USSR-

Abstract

In this work, we shall develop a method of computing aerodynamic characteristics of wings of finite span, of a type we shall call developable. The whole study shall proceed under the assumption that the gas is devoid of forces of internal friction and moves adiabatically. We shall assume that the strong disruption surfaces do not recoil from either the frontal or the rear edges of the wing. The motion shall be assumed to be fixed. The interference of the wing with the fuselage shall be left out of the examination.
