West Europe Report, Science and Technology

Abstract

The purpose of the present report was to address research issues regarding science and technology in Western Europe with particular attention to technology transfer, scientific and industrial policies across a variety of domains. The report will cover the important issues related to microelectronics, computer technology, biotechnology and factory automation. It is expected the innovative experimental research and design standards presented in the report will play an important role in the future economic growth in Western Europe.
