Strategy Toward The Total Synthesis of Epothilones A and B.

Abstract

Epothilones are a class of promising antibreast cancer candidate. They were synthesized by three strategies. Structure - activity relationships were studied with the synthetic compounds. The first in vivo test of synthetic epothilone B is encouraging. Further chemical and biological studies are on going.
