Methylation of Select Tumor Suppressor Genes in Sporadic Breast Cancer.

Abstract

The methylation status of the breast cancer tumor suppressor genes RBl and BRCA2 was studied by two different methods; Southern blotting and methylation specific polymerase chain reaction. The results from both types of analyses have been inconclusive to date because of technical difficulties.
