High-Frequency Microelectronics

Abstract

By any measure of productivity and impact this program has been highly productive and has had a major impact on III-V semiconductor technology as evidenced by the number of publications, graduate-student output, interactions with Army laboratories, and other D.O.D., industrial and academic laboratories. This program has provided tremendous leverage by enabling us to attract major programs from other federal agencies and industry. It has also enabled us to establish one of the leading facilities and programs in the nation for research in high-frequency microelectronics through major cost-sharing by the University the State of Michigan and industrial and federal agencies. This program has had and will continue to have a tremendous impact on the field.
