Abstract
Nonlinear Optics 98 on Materials, Fundamentals and Applications Topical Meeting held 10-14 August 1998 at Princeville Hotel in Princeville, Kauai, Hawaii. The purpose of the conference was to bring together scientists and engineers in optics in order to report the most resent results and to simulate new disciplinary activity. The highlights of the symposium were issues related to nonlinear optics, quantum optics, semiconductor quantum dots, communications holographic data storage and terahertz radiation.
