Abstract

The Operation and Maintenance, Defense-Wide O&M, D-W) appropriation supports a wide range of programs which have been consolidated to achieve maximum efficiency by avoiding overlap and duplication among the Services. The Defense Agencies are essential to the accomplishments of the missions of the Military Departments. This volume concerns the areas of Office of the Inspector General, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, Overseas Humanitarian, Disaster and Civic Aid, Overseas Contingency Operations Transfer Fund, Former Soviet Union Threat Reduction and Support for International Sporting Events.
