Quantification of Inert Gas Monolayer Evolution on an Atomically Rough Calcium (111) Surface Using Cellular Automata

Abstract

This report results from a contract tasking Imperial College, London as follows: The contractor will investigate the use of Cellular Automata (CA) algorithms to advance our understanding of how various transport phenomena such as surface diffusion and adsorption/desorption contribute towards the growth of surface structures.
