Solid State Raman Materials Characterization for High Average Power 1.3 micrometer Laser Frequency Shift

Abstract

This report results from a contract tasking Laser Materials and Technology Research Center of the General Physics Institute as follows: The contractor will evaluate the thermomechanical and optical properties, and conduct Raman spectroscopic studies and laser laboratory tests to determine the most promising Raman frequency shifting materials for use with 1.3 micron high power lasers.
