This monthly report provides significant political, economic, sociological, and military information on Afghanistan as presented by the Kabul. and provincial newspapers and periodicals in the Persian and Palditu languages, particularly the leading ,Kabul daily newspapers Anis and Islah. Items of purely international significance have been excluded. This report covers the sources indicated, published mainly during the month of February l96O.
