Fy 1998 Pollution Prevention and Environmental Technology Division Annual Report.

Abstract

This report summarizes projects carried out during Fiscal Year 1998 (October 1997-September 1998) by the U.S. Army Environmental Center's Pollution Prevention and Environmental Technology Division. The report describes the projects, participants, results, requirements, milestones and products. P2&ETD conducts demonstrations of new and innovative environmental technologies and transfers successful technologies to the field. The division's experienced scientists and engineers handle projects in program areas such as environmental cleanup, compliance, pollution prevention, and conservation. Special initiatives carried out during FY 1998 included the multi-agency Range XXI program and the Tri-Service Site Characterization and Analysis Penetrometer System (SCAPS).
