Strategic Weapons Assessment Nomograph

Abstract

AF/SA requested an investigation into the interrelationships among the various strategic weapon characteristics. The intent was to develop a graphic model that could show all of these relationships on a single chart. In this way, quick desktop evaluations of strategic weapons could be made in order to provide insights into a weapon's overall capabilities. This briefing presents the resultant model, called the Strategic Weapons Assessment Nomograph (SWAN).
