Abstract

In preparing the present book, which offers the reader a short physicogeographical and geological study of Central Asia, all the major source materials, both Russian and foreign, were utilized. A considerable proportion of the material presented consists of information obtained through the personal investigations of the author, who has visited all the major regions of Central Asia.
