Protection Against Radiations From Sealed Gamma Sources

Abstract

One of the primary considerations leading to the preparation of this handbook as a revision of the old Handbook 54 has been the modification of the recommendations of the maximum permissible radiation exposure to man. These have been published as an addendum to Handbook 59 on April 15, 1958. Essentially, the same modifications have been adopted by the International Commission on Radiological Protection.
