Advanced Cancer Detection Center

Abstract

Establish a center to expand cancer screening and education programs; find cancers in the population early enough to make a difference in morbidity and mortality; research and implement high quality, high technology, and cost effective communication delivery methods via telemedicine and teleconferencing; and implement basic science investigations of early genetic and biochemical transformations related to cancer that can be detected early in the disease process.
