MCARM/STAP Data Analysis. Volume I.

Abstract

The Multi-Channel Airborne Radar Measurement (MCARM) program was initiated to gather real airborne data. Both monostatic and bistatic data were collected, under varying environmental conditions and in different geographical areas. This report documents the construction, maintenance, and use of the MCARM data via the Internet. The main objective of this access is to permit and promote research in the area of Space-Time Adaptive Processing. Use of real airborne data will permit researchers to better test different signal processing algorithms and hypotheses. A query form and query engine permits a user to search the data repository. The data repository is comprised of 570 data files and occupies approximately 27 gigabytes of magnetic disk storage.
