Assessment of 2-Photon Optical Storage Potentials for the Years 2000-2010

Abstract

This program includes an assessment of Government and Industrial applications for optical data storage, and identities the windows of opportunity by determining current state of the art, as well as future advanced technology predictions. This study included investigations into magnetic, holographic, probe recording, 2 photon, 3-D memories, etc. The program culminated in a workshop describing the quantified results.
