Distributed Sensor Fusion Based on Statistical Inference

Abstract

In the twenty-five month period between June 1997 and June 1999 we have looked into three problems related to data fusion from multiple sensors. The first deals with the distributed constant false alarm rate radar target detection, the second deals with order statistics based diversity combining for fading channels, and the last examines a rank based test M-ary detection problem.
