General Criteria to Evaluate Students' Performance in Dealing with Ill-Defined Problems

Abstract

One of the USAF Academy's educational outcomes is to produce officers who can frame and resolve ill defined problems. The purpose of constructing ill defined assessment tasks for our students is to assess their ability to recognize and contribute to the resolution of real world dilemmas they are likely to face in their future careers as Air Force Officers.
