AP-Inine Protective Footwear Exposed to a Contact Explosion With AP no. 22C1 Mine

Abstract

Under assignment from the Material Directorate of the RNLA, a research program has been started to examine the protection capacity of protective footwear against anti-personnel mines. Four types of boots were tested. The experiments show that none of the tested boots could protect the foot against a contact explosion of an AP mine no. 22C1. The protection of the leg was not examined in these experiments.
