Occupational Survey Report. Utilities Systems, AFSC 3E4X1

Abstract

The Utilities Systems career ladder was surveyed to provide current job and task data for use in updating career ladder documents and training programs. Survey results are based on 1,325 responses from Active Duty (AD) (884), Air National Guard (ANG) (293), and Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) (148) personnel. Skill levels and pay grades were well represented. One cluster and 11 jobs were identified in the career ladder structure analysis: General Plumber Cluster, Exterior Plumbing Job, Barebase Systems Installation Job, Barebase Systems Maintenance Job, Field Water Systems Job, Water Treatment Job, Pool Maintenance Job, Fire Suppression Job, Team Leader Job, OJT Trainer Job, and Management and Supervisory Job.
