Use of Foreign Comparative Testing Program Funds for the BOL Expendable Countermeasures Dispenser

Abstract

This report is the first in a series of reports addressing the Foreign Comparative Testing Program (Testing Program). The objective of the Testing Program is to test and evaluate foreign nondevelopmental items to determine whether the items satisfy U. S. military requirements. In March 1996, the Air Force F-15 System Program Office submitted a proposal to the Testing Program Office for the BOL Expendable Countermeasures Dispenser (BOL Dispenser). The BOL Dispenser has the potential to enhance the survivability and mission effectiveness of the F-15 aircraft. The Air Force requested $2.25 million to fund the proposal.
